Oscar Winners 2012: Who Went Home With An Academy Award?: After several months of installation, and the red carpets of countless hours spent to answer two basic questions ("Are you prepared speech?" And "Who are you wearing?"), George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Octavia Spencer and the rest of the nominees for an Oscar this year, scored in the room, formerly known as Kodak Theatre on Sunday evening to hear jokes from host Billy Crystal cracked - and, of course, know who to go home the hardware at the 84th Academy Award.
Although the artist and Hugo connected the majority of wins with five statues each night really belonged to the first. Mostly black and white silent film won for Best Actor (Jean Dujardin), Best Director (Michel Hazanavicius), Best Soundtrack, Best Costume Design and Best Picture - the first silent film to take top honors Academy of wings on his back so that the first Oscar in 1929 year.
Merly Streep, meanwhile, won best actress for her spot on the proposal of former British Prime Minister Thatcher's Iron Lady Maragaret. This was the third victory for the actress - whose 17 nominations are recording the action - and his first win since she won the 1983 Sophie's Choice.
And Octavia Spencer help beginners and Christopher Plummer continues to dominate the awards season, winning the Best Actress and Best Actor awards, respectively.
